Every day of our lives are filled with countless blessings. The sunrise is a symbol of the hope of a new beginning. A glimpse of the mist-covered mountains that overlook the beautiful Yarra Valley brings a sense of awe at their creation. The company of loved ones is as precious as moments spent alone in meditation and reflection. Lying out in an evening thunder storm brings relief after a hot summer day. As we travel to our mud-brick studio perched in the Sugarloaf Ranges, we see a tapestry of colours in the sunset. Sadly, these blessings often pass us by unnoticed, in the business of our day. With "The Blessing" we wanted to capture the beauty of these everyday gifts in the songs, and pass them to you to appreciate. Our prayer is that this album brings peace to your mind, healing to your body and soud, and many blessings to your life.
